Education Overview
On graduating from highschool in 2004, I attended Clemson University as a student in Computer Science (BS). After two years in the program, it became evident that my technical interests did not fit well with the curriculum that was in place at the time. While the Clemson Computer Science program offered a great deal in the area of theory, I was a lot more interested in actual application.
In late 2006, I decided to change majors to Graphic Communications. I learned that Clemson had a nationally respected program, and the diverse and varied subject matter interested me. Additionally, it was a field going through technological growing pains. The prospect of applying my development background to something more specific was attractive.
In May of 2009, I earned my B.S. in Graphic Communications and immediately went to work at International Paper as a software developer.
